Frequently Asked Questions

    

How long does it take to receive a Quotation for Catering Services?                   

Please allow 48-72 hours to receive a Quotation after a request has been sent.

How many days prior to the event can a order be made?

For events consisting of 100 or more persons- 60 days or more notice.

For events consisting of 50 or more persons- 30 days or more notice.

For events consisting of 10 or more persons- 10 days or more notice.

For Private Chef Services- 1 week or more notice.

We do understand that some events are impromptu, however, feel free to contact us and if there is availability we will gladly assist at the very last moment.

 

For any bookings within shorter notice; full payment is required upon confirmation.

Once an order is Canceled will my deposit be refunded?

50% deposit of the total estimated amount is due on all services exceeding $50.

 

This deposit will reserve the date, and confirm Catering services requested.

Refunds/ Cancellations are handled as follows:

60 days or more days notice prior to the event- Full refund

30 days prior to the event- 50% refunded 

10 days prior to the event- no refund.

Please note, once a deposit is made, this means catering services are confirmed for the date requested.

 

This deposit goes to ensuring every detail ordered are delivered on your special day.

When is final payment due?

The customer will be billed for the balance within the week of the event, payment should be made upon receipt of the invoice.

How can I contact Avita's Catering?

All order requests can be sent to Avitascatering@gmail.com, or WhatsApp 649.431.7820. Please allow 24hours for a response.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, credit cards, direct deposits to our FCIB/RBC accounts(account number will be provided upon confirmation), PayPal, and cheques from selected companies.

Do you provide delivery services?

Yes, we do provide delivery services. Delivery fee starts from $15, depending on the delivery location.

What is included when I book a private chef?


The Chef, groceries and kitchen cleaning. The number of chefs will vary depending on the number of guests.

CONFIRMATION

 
Confirmation of a booking must be given in writing, and will be taken as understanding and acceptance of our terms, including Payment.

BREAKAGE/LOSS/LIABILITY:

 
The client assumes full responsibility for any damage or loss of any equipment, including chafing dishes, linens, glassware, china, flatware etc. Any lost, stolen or damaged equipment will be charged to the client at replacement cost.

 

 Equipment is rented at a separate cost. A 10% deposit is required for rental equipment which will be refunded at the end of the event once there are no damages or loss of any equipment.
